Banana is a sweet and shy boy! He has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people at first. Banana is such a gentle soul, there is not a mean bone in him. He is now in a foster home with several dogs and loves them all. Banana is well socialized with any big and small dogs. He will do well in a home with another dog. Banana started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining. He rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands. We are looking for a committed family to continue to train and socialize him and be patient with him during the transition period.
Banana’s Rescue Story
Banana was abandoned on the streets. He was rescued by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group. The rescue has a temporary shelter for the dogs. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life.
Banana had a thorough medical checkup. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests. Please give Banana a loving home where he will never be left behind again.
