Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chonk has had a run of bad luck. Found wandering the streets with injuries from being hit by a car, he was taken to a partner shelter. Unfortunately, they do not have the resources to treat him there He has done a good job healing on his own and can really get around; you should see his zoomies! But he still carries one of his back legs and we know he needs more medical attention to become fully healed.
Chonk is a very sweet boy with all the shelter staff and has made a few dog friends while he's there so we think he'll do good to live with a well-matched dog friend. Though while he's recovering they will need to take things slow and not be allowed to rough house.
We can only save this sweet pup if he has a foster to provide care. Will you be his hero and bring him into your home so he can get the medical treatment that he needs to live a long healthy life?
