From her foster: Meet Tippi- She is a sweet soul looking for a forever home with lots of love and patience to allow her to come out of her shell at her own speed. Tippi arrived in rescue very scared and shy, and it took a few weeks before she attempted to explore the house, or come out of hiding when her foster attempted to interact with her. She may not be a lap cat right away (or even ever), but your patience will be worth it! Given time and space, Tippi gained trust and slowly warmed up and is now happy to be part of the household
Tippi has learned that snoozing on beds is fun, wand toys aren't scary, and churo treats are tasty. You'll know you've earned Tippi's trust when she flops down next to you looking for pets. She will hold your hand with her paws and rub her face on you.
Tippi would benefit from being in a quieter home, as she still gets scared easily. Sudden movements and new people cause her to run and hide. Having a quiet space where she can decompress and feel safe is required. Tippi would also like to have a kitty friend in her forever home. Since arriving at the BB, Tippi has had kitty friends in both her foster homes. It's clear Tippi wants to play and interact with her foster friends, and kitty friends help her to feel more comfortable.
Tippi is great with covered litter boxes, has a healthy appetite, and knows what scratching posts are for. If Tippi sounds like a good match, please apply to learn more!
