Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ebony!
She's a sweet and gentle 6- to 7-year-old German Shepherd mix girl weighing 60 lbs. She's extremely well-behaved and always stays close to you on walks. She's housetrained, doesn't chew, and knows some basic cues.
Reluctantly, her family needs to rehome her because of dog allergies.
Ebony is a couch potato but she also loves to go for walks, and she even loves to run -- but she's not an athlete who could keep up with you if you're on a bike. She has a sore front paw that hurts her if she runs too far.
Ebony can eat any kind of good dog food, and let's say she really loves to eat! Her adopters will need to practice portion control in this food-loving girl.
She's good with men, women, kids, cats and dogs that she knows. Strange dogs can make her anxious, but with good training (and treats!) we're hoping she'll learn that some strange dogs can actually become her pals.
She's not a fan of being alone at home or alone in the car. She's happiest when she can be with someone all day. Ebony's ideal adopter(s) will be people who can take her places, out and about -- with minimal car time by herself; and also adopters who spend a lot of time at home.
For more info and/or to apply to adopt Ebony, send us an email at SummitDogRescue@gmail.com, telling us a bit about yourself, your home environment and your lifestyle. A volunteer will get back to you shortly. Thanks.
