My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tony! I am a 3-4 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, that weighs 10 pounds. I am both house trained and crate trained. I do struggle with wanting to go outside when it is cold, but don't worry I will hold it until it warms up! I have not met many children, but my foster mom says that I would be good with older respectful kids. I am good with other dogs but would prefer to be with other smaller dogs (big dogs are so scary when they stand over me). I would do better with no cats in the house, as they are fun to chase. I don't require a lot of exercise but I do get zoomies around the house! I would do better with a fenced in yard, so that I can stretch my legs!

I LOVE to wrestle with my foster people! I also like to have my belly rubbed and to cuddle. One of the funniest things that I do is picking up blankets that are left out and going under them to get all warm and cozy!

Local adoptions only. We do not adopt out of the state of Illinois. Tony is being fostered in a private home. Appointments to meet him will be set up for approved adopters only. His adoption fee is $300 which includes all age appropriate vaccines. He is neutered and microchipped. He is also up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives as well as Heartworm negative.
