Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mr. Gibbs is a gentle soul who has a deep love for chin-scratches and a penchant for following his favorite human everywhere. While he makes an excellent shadow, Mr. Gibbs isn't needy for attention and will happily relax on his own when his foster is busy. He can often be found lying on his back in his dog bed, "air cycling" with his legs and a joyful look on his face. When you're ready to dole out the affection, just call his name and lower yourself to his level. He will trot right over and sit, ready for a good hug or chin-scratch.
Despite his senior status, Mr. Gibbs still enjoys his daily walks by his foster's side, taking in all the sights and smells. He meets strangers with politeness, is unbothered by other dogs, and shows friendly curiosity toward the neighborhood bunnies.
Mr. Gibbs' adaptable nature makes him suited to a wide variety of homes. He has lived successfully with a small dog in the past, and he is a gentle and respectful companion to the resident cat. While he would love to be around his people all day, he also does just fine home alone, snoozing away in his crate for hours.
So if you're looking for a loyal, loving, low-maintenance companion, Mr. Gibbs is the perfect match. Check out his mellow adventures in foster on Instagram @hi_foster and ask to meet him today!
