This is Tessa, she is 3-1/2 years old. She loves people and loves to play fetch. It is with a heavy heart that we are putting her up for adoption. We got another lab that is two years younger, and although they get along and regularly play with each other, Tessa has developed food aggression ever since getting the other dog. It has become an issue for us when it is feeding time. Although we feed them in separate rooms, if we go near her bowl when she thinks its time to eat, and the other dog follows and get too close, Tessa will growl and sometimes lunge or bite our other dog. It has been difficult for us to manage and has resulted in having to take our other dog to the vet on a couple of occasions. This makes us very sad, but we are hoping we can find her a loving home where she is the only dog.
