Meet Quicksilver, a delightful grey tabby girl with a heart as affectionate as her fur is soft. Quicksilver has quite a story, but it's not one we would ever want a kitty to experience. She was left in an apartment when her owner was arrested, and she wasn't found for over a week since no one knew she was there. She had no food and only had water out of the toilet, and when she was found, she was totally emaciated and emotionally devastated. Now, she has fully recovered and is a total sweetheart once she knows you are trustworthy. Her big green eyes will question if you are going to be there for her and not abandon her!
She is an easygoing girl that is not only okay with other cats but embraces playtime with wand toys, showcasing her playful spirit. The world is a good place for her now, and she's comfortable and happy and loves to play.

This sweet kitty was actually found in the abandoned apartment with a dog, so we know she has lived with a dog previously. We assume with a gentle, cat-friendly dog she would be just fine. We are not sure about young children as her foster home is an adult only home, but again, with gentle kids she most likely would be just fine.

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
