My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala is a spirited and energetic female hound mix who is full of life and love. Potty trained and ready to join your home, Nala's favorite pastimes include playing chase and fetch-she's always up for a game! She thrives in a large fenced-in area where she can run around to her heart's content. After a fun day of play, Nala loves nothing more than to ask for hugs and cuddles, making her the perfect balance of playful and affectionate. If you're looking for a loyal companion with lots of energy and love to give, Nala might just be the perfect fit for you!

My adoption comes with some extra benefits at the time of adoption!

Nala is an All-star dog, and her adoption appointment includes a discussion with the training team, as well as a few enrichment goodies to help get you both off to a good start. To learn more about Nala or to schedule an appointment to meet her, please email info@ahconnects.org (including your name and phone number), and the staff will be happy to assist you.

Stop in and meet Nala in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
