Meow there! My name is Alex Van Halen. I was born 9/26/23 (best estimate). I came into the rescue at 5 weeks old, in pretty bad shape. I was malnourished and had a really bad eye infection. With medicine, TLC, and lots of good food I was able to get healthy. The only lasting effects are that my eyes are a little cloudy, and I have limited vision in my right eye. but I am a healthy happy little kitten these days. I am playful, I enjoy paper bags, boxes, kitty tunnels, crinkle balls and mousie toys. In fact, I think everything in the world is a toy! I’m also a cuddler, though sometimes I can’t make up my mind if I want to play or snuggle. I like to curl up against my foster mom’s neck or in the crook of her arm and nap. I also like to give kitty kisses and I will try to suck on her earlobe if I can get away with it. I’m used to being around other kitties so having a furry friend in the house is a necessity for me to be happy (my sister Edna Van Halen is also available for adoption, hint hint. She was supposed to be Eddie Van Halen, but she wouldn’t cooperate, she just had to go and be a girl). I haven’t been around dogs or small children, but I sometimes bunny kick and give love nips, so small children might not be the best fit. I’m neutered, up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200.
