My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetheart, Calm, Soft Boy

Quince likes to sit on the couch and be by your side! He prefers to be near you and doesn't need to cuddle up on you, but he LOVES pets. He will rub on you and meow softly to politely ask for some affection.

Overall, Quince is a calm boy - but he can get very excited about the mouse-on-a-string toy, and will chase it! (He has a cute tummy "puff" that swings when he runs!) After a bit of chasing he's done, and it's time to chill.

Quince and his brother, Durango (46045), were adopted together as kittens and have lived together for 10 years. Their previous owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender them when their family life took a busy turn, complete with toddlers! This caused too much anxiety for these boys, and they didn't get the quiet attention they crave. Quince and Durango are bonded, meaning their health and well-being depends on them remaining together, so they must be adopted together. They are a sweet pair, and APA! (as well as their previous owners) thanks you for keeping them together! Learn about Durango here - https://tinyurl.com/u73v46km

Both boys are on a urinary support diet, and Quince is scheduled to have a non-symptomatic hernia surgically repaired.

Initially, Quince will be shy and maybe anxious in a new place, but he warms up pretty quickly and shows his curious and calm nature. Exploring the house is one of his favorite things!

The ideal home for Quince and Durango is quiet and low-traffic with people who will be gentle and patient with them. While they appreciate attention from their beloved humans, they are independent and good on their own together, too.

Quince and Durango are ready to find their new home and new people to bond with! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
