Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi friend, my name is Duke! You would never guess by my friendly demeanor but I was found abandoned in a bad place. People have wronged me before but I am resilient and still have a pawsitive outlook on life. I can come on a bit strong with other dogs but I am just super excited, so I may do well with a calmer friend, or one that can match my energy. I am very food motivated and have mastered some basic commands. The staff are pretty sure I am housebroken already too. I love love love to play fetch, and can keep you active for hours! I don`t know how I feel about cats but with proper introduction we may do well together. I am not fond of sharing high-value treats and can be protective of my people, so any kids in the home need to be 15 and older who can respect my boundaries. I was left to fend for myself before, so I need to build back my trust in others. I have a lot of love to share so I hope that you will consider adopting a big, handsome, sweetheart like me!
--- If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. --- The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center 848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603 Kennel #16516 717-917-6979 lancaster@pspca.org
