Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We were called about Princess running around an area of our county. No one could catch her. This has been going on for a few months. We set a trap and caught her recently. She had given birth to two puppies who were running with her. We caught them a week before we caught her.
She is a gentle giant! She is a Great Pyrenees, we are guessing 2-4 years old. She current weighs 73 pounds but is very thin. We expect her to easily put on 20 pounds or more now that we have her. She is incredibly sweet but is very timid. We have only had her a few days but loud noises make her jump and she's just now wagging her tail at us. She will need someone patient. She is a very large, very tall dog.
She seems okay with other dogs and doesn't seem to care about cats.
She will be spayed on February 2. She is up to date on shots, tested negative for heartworms, Lyme disease, e.canis and anaplasmosis, has been treated for fleas/ticks and intestinal parasites and is microchipped.
Adoption fee is $100.
If interested, apply at www.humanesocietyofmartincounty.org. Our shelter does adoptions by appointment only. An adoption application is required first.
