Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PHYSICAL FENCE REQUIRED
Meet Teddy! His tipped ears and “soft” eyes and face can’t help but make you think of a little teddy bear! He’s on the smaller side at 57 lbs., and believe it or not, he’s a pretty quiet guy, especially for a Collie.
Teddy absolutely loves people of all ages. He revels in being the center of his people’s attention and expresses his gratitude in the sweetest ways: He’s very affectionate with his human companions and oftentimes climbs in their laps for some snuggle time!
Teddy is quite high-energy, especially by Collie standards, so we know that he’ll live his very best life with a person/family who has a very active lifestyle. He spends lots of time burning off his excess energy by running around his foster family’s backyard every day, so he needs to have a physical fence at his forever home, too.
Teddy gets along great with other dogs! Because of his extensive energy reserves, enjoyment of “ruff” housing, and persistence in getting canine companions to play with him, Teddy would fit in best with a dog sibling who is still in their younger years and who loves to play just as much as he does.
Teddy is still working on his obedience training and leash walking, but being highly food-motivated has helped him to learn quickly and to be eager to learn even more. He’s also becoming a fan of car rides as he gets more practice.
If Teddy sounds like the beautiful Collie boy of your dreams, fill out an Adoption Application for him today!
Teddy is being fostered in Michigan.
