Terry is FIV+. This just means his immune system is as unique as his purrsonality. Please don't let his diagnosis deter you! FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives!

Terry has a mysterious past. We believe he's a survivor of suspected physical and mental abuse, and that has left him a bit like James Bond – a little shaken, not stirred. We're working on toning down his unpredictable moments, but hey, even Bond had his wild side.

The Terry Experience:

Terry is a happy, lovable, and . . . strange boy. He may be a few fries short of a Happy Meal, but we think he's still the best! Though it's not our usual recommendation, we are seeking a SAFE outdoor or indoor/outdoor home for Terry. For whatever reason, he exhibits non-fun biting behaviors when confined indoors. As an outdoor kitty, Terry is at peace and enjoys basking in the sun. He now only bites when he's very overstimulated, and it seems to be limited to your normal cat "love biting", and he's easily stopped with verbal scolding. E.g., the belly is a trap! He is used to being kenneled at night, and we are seeking a home that will provide a similar safety feature. Terry gets along well with other friendly cats after a proper introduction. He is not a super fan of dogs, but he is used to being around them and goats!
