Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Simon. Simon and his sister, Netta, joined the NorCal family when their owner could not take care of them.
Simon and Netta are very bonded and will be adopted together. Netta will not go anywhere without Simon. Simon has a little bit more confidence, which he exhibits in barking at strangers. Netta tends to be shy and will hide behind Simon. Both these dogs need some socialization, but are sweet and loving.
Simon and Netta ride well in the car, are working on their potty training, would love to go on walks and explore the world. They both need to be in a home with a secure yard and someone that can be home with them the majority of the time. Simon and Netta have some separation anxiety. They would not do well in an apt or condo.
Simon and Netta are both fairly mellow, at this point, but as they settle in to their foster home and we begin to see their true personalities, that may change. They both get along well with other dogs and will slowly warm up to people. Simon and Netta enjoy playing with their toys.
Simon has a cherry eye, in both eyes and is scheduled for surgery in a couple weeks. Until he has had his surgery and is all healed up, neither Simon or Netta will be ready for adoption.
Simon and Netta have both been to the Vet and have a clean bill or health, other than Simon's cherry eyes.
If you are interested in Simon and Netta, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
