Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I love my humans but I do not like being a big brother to a newborn and would prefer to be somewhere where I don’t have to worry about it.
We have had Maverick since he was 6-weeks old and did not come to this decision lightly, Mav would do best as the only dog in a home with older children or as a companion for a single adult or a couple without kids. He has a canine brother who’s smaller and they get along but we are unsure how he would do with any unfamiliar dogs (but if you have a dog and think you’re a good fit we can arrange a meet and greet).
Maverick does very well with adults and older kids and is the sweetest, goofiest boy. He loves walks and fetch and cuddles and Kong balls but does not love a tiny, screaming, squirming baby taking all of his parents’ attention. We have tried to acclimate him as best as we can but he can be anxious in new situations and will need a patient and gentle hand.
Adoption fee is negotiable as we all know where “free” pitties can end up.
