(We have a transport trip on 2/4/24 to Napa, Ca. And will be extending our trip to other areas of Northern California along with OR for the right families. We will be asking for transport costs to be divided between all adopters in route to help alleviate the total costs involved.)
Meet Honey! She is 2.5 years of age. She weighs 14 lbs, and yes she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She is a shih tzu/poodle mix. She has the beautiful curly hypoallergenic poodle coat with the adorable smoosh face of a shih tzu. She reminds me of a little Ewok (from Star Wars,) 🙃
She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, had a dental cleaning along with one extraction, and had an overall wonderful physical exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own!
She is house trained, and will go outside when needed. She is also crate trained, and currently sleeps in a crate at night only. She is extremely easy going, and has amazing house manners so if her new family wanted to transition her to a bed in their room or to simply have her in bed with them I'm certain it wouldn't be a hard transition whatsoever.
She is very sweet, and docile by nature. She is laid back, and loves to hang out in the house, or near by her human if they are busy working, or doing chores around the house. She is NOT a barker, and will only really make any noise when she needs to potty, and needs you to let her outside.
She is amazing on leash, and loves her walks!
She loves road trips of any kind, so if you are looking for a traveling partner she is definitely your girl ❤️
She is amazing with everyone she meets, and always happily greets a friendly face 😊
She is great with all dogs, and cats alike. She has a very submissive temperament with other animals, and is not overpowering at all. She wants to be everyone's friend, and if they don't want to be hers, she is oaky with that too as she will happily find a new one.
She truly is an amazing girl, with a heart ready to love and be loved by in return ❤️
Her prior owners schedule between work and school left her time at home extremely scarce. She knew Honey was not happy, and was slowly losing her spunk so she reached out to us here to take her in and find her the home, and human she deserved again.
