Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a transport trip on 2/4/24-2/5/24 to Napa, ca. and will be extending our trip to other areas of Northern California and OR as needed and would love to add the right adopter to our route. We will be asking for transport to be divided between all adopters in route to help alleviate the total costs involved.)
Meet Lizzy. She is a 8 month old Yorkie/Maltese/Shihtzu mix. Yes, she is hypoallergenic. She weighs right under 10 lbs. she is spayed, current on all vaccines, and micorchipped. She had a wonderful overall wellness exam with our vet and has been cleared to find a home all her own.
She is pad trained, and will go outside to use the restroom we well. We always accompany our little ones here outside due to the wildlife we have nearby so she is used to having someone outside with her.
She is wonderful with other dogs, and cats alike.
She is VERY sweet with men, women, and children alike.
She is not your high energy puppy whatsoever. She is a complete lap dog, loves to always be where her person is, and loves being snuggled. She does currently sleep in a crate at night, but I'm certain she would love being in bed with her human too, but thought we would leave that decision to her adopting family ❤️
She is wonderful on road trips, and will lay down in the back seat on her dog bed the whole time. She is very good at our groomers, just nervous with the blow dryer, so that is something that needs to be worked with to help build her confidence with.
Leash training is coming along nicely, but she does tend to want to be carried so thankfully she is small enough 🙃
She is sweet, docile, easy to please, easier to love, and quite the perfect companion if you ask me ❤️
Her prior owner kept her, along with her two brothers as they were their moms first litter, and unable to financially spay mom or dad she became pregnant. They fell in love with all 3 babies, and ultimately tried to keep them but realized it wasn't fair to them so thankfully their vet reached out to us here and placed us into contact with them.
We took in all 3 puppies, and in turn spayed and neutered mom and dad for them.
She has been loved immensely, (all of them have,) from her prior family, and ours.
Her adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org.
