Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sheba is a 4-year-old, diluted tortoiseshell who entered our care when her family suddenly had to leave the country and couldn’t take her with them. Imagine the overwhelming sadness for both the humans and their beloved cat.
Her foster-dad describes Sheba as a very calm cat who is curious and will investigate what you’re up to. Sheba thoroughly enjoys having her rump, chin, and cheeks scratched. Once this shy girl has a chance to decompress in her new surroundings, she’ll be your best gal-pal and hang out with you while you relax or work from home.
This beauty will thrive best as an only kitty in a quiet home. We feel that an experienced adopter, with good cat “mojo” is best match for this queen. Let’s give this sweet baby her second chance to find another loving family. Please schedule your meet and greet by completing your no obligation application at nchsrescue.org. Inside kitty only.

More about this rescue
The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society has a dedication and passion to rescue shelter pets located at local kill shelters. Those rescued pets are vetted and vaccinated then placed in our foster care program where they are socialized with our own pets, taught basic manners (dogs/puppies), start crate-training method (dogs/puppies)and in short, get them ready for their forever home. They stay in our foster care system until their forever homes are found. The volunteers of NCHS are dedicated to rescuing homeless pets because there are so many pets in kill shelters that are wonderful, loving pets. They are euthanized simply because they do not have homes.
