My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, fabulous human! I'm Nora, the enchanting panther kitty with a touch of shy charm. I've got this big sister named Button, and let me tell you, she's the brave one who's been showing me the ropes of the spoiled indoor life.

Our adventure began when we were rescued from the great outdoors near a fire station—thanks to some awesome firefighters who were feeding us. They called in the cavalry, aka Motor City Trappers, to give us a shot at the good life indoors. Now, we're adjusting and absolutely loving it!

I may be the shy one, but I've got a playful spirit waiting to burst forth. My sister Button, she's the braveheart who loves a good brushing and pets from her humans. I'm taking notes and slowly coming out of my shell, thanks to her guidance.

What we really need is a dynamic duo like us to join your household. A quiet haven with patient owners who are kitty-savvy, ready to help us relax and relish the good life. Staying together is non-negotiable—we've been partners in crime since day one. Could you be the purr-fect person to help us live our best lives? Let's find out together!

Nora is 1-2 years old, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated.

More about this rescue

Motor City Trappers is a 501(c)(3) community organized initiative advocating for the community cats of the metro Detroit area. We devise strategies using trap-neuter-return (TNR) methods while educating caretakers in efforts to stabilize colonies & increase the quality of life for our community cats & fellow residents.

We assist with rescue missions, providing medical care to the injured, locating foster/rescue placement and rehoming cats & kittens that need off the street.
