Meet the V Pups: Vanessa, Velvet, Vincent 😊 This sweet litter of 8-month-old pups were a street rescue, but now they are in danger of being thrown out of the only home they’ve ever known because the rescuer’s landlord doesn't want them in the house. They are very affectionate pups, good with other dogs. They haven’t had the opportunity to be around kids or cats. They are spayed/neutered
and UTD on all. Weights: Vanessa (29lbs), Velvet (28lbs), Vincent (30lbs).

Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all volunteer NYS corporation which has been operating on Long Island for 40 years. We are working to create a better welfare system for all the animals in our communities. Over the years, we created, and continue to create, a number of valuable programs which serve to promote our mission to create respect for all animals, to educate individuals about animals, to help people keep their animals, and to provide assistance with the control of the animal population on Long Island. PAWS has many programs which are helpful in achieving our goals. Some of our programs include:
