My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie Bear is a VERY handsome fellow! He is a little shy and a little independent, but he also walks with a swagger. We're pretty sure that he knows how handsome he is. He is very popular with his friends in Cat Country, and he is very playful. It make take some time for him to warm up to you but he is pretty much perfect!

PS We performed an informal survey here at the shelter and Charlie Bear has been voted as the Most Photogenic.

Adoption fee $50 includes neuter, microchip and vaccines.

More about this shelter

The Eastern Madera County SPCA was incorporated in 1990. We are in an area with the highest euthanasia rates in the U.S. Our area is 45 minutes from the county shelter where thousands of animals die each year. Our goal is to promote adoption, offer spay/neuter assistance, and educate the public about proper animal care.
