Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT RAYNA!
Meet Rayna, our beautiful five-year-old calico! This sweet lady was brought into HAP as a sick stray, so of course this has been a long and strange journey for her!
Rayna is a little shy at first, and can be a little hissy, but once she knows someone is a friend, she's a real lovebug! She likes to sit next to someone and get some binge-watching in, she isn't much of a player.
*Rayna has FIV, which means her immune system is weaker than other cats. She may get sicker easier and for longer, but otherwise it does not affect her health. It is transmittable to other cats through biting, but not to humans or dogs. We recommend she get regular vet care.
**Rayna gets along with other cats, but would need to go to a home with either very calm cats or cats with FIV. We don't recommend dogs or children.
***If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.
