For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps Baypath Humane Society with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Luke, an adorable boy who can't wait to be the missing piece to your puzzle!
Luke's confidence grows every day in his foster home. Though initially shy around new faces and noises, he blossoms with the help of tasty treats and gentle encouragement. Luke missed out on a lot of early socialization with people; however, he is making great strides in learning to trust people. He loves being in a cozy home environment and enjoys settling on the couch and getting pets. He does well in a calm and quiet home where he can feel safe and secure.
Luke is playful and energetic, especially when he has a toy to chase. He thrives with a confident dog sibling and enjoys playdates and running in the yard. Since he is getting used to leash walking, he prefers the security of a fenced yard where he can run and play freely.
Luke's ideal home is one that offers patience, persistence, and positive reinforcement to help him come out of his shell. A gentle and respectful approach is key to helping him overcome his fears.
**This dog is a recipient of our Pedigree Adoption Success Kit, including training resources and a training voucher, to set Luke and his new family up for success. Ask staff for more information!**
