My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Peter Brady!

This playful and snuggly kitten was born without eyelids and required a special surgery to fix his eyes. Despite his rough start, with the love and dedication from AFRP's clinic staff and his amazing fosters, Peter is now ready to take on the world!

Peter is full of life and energy, always ready to play with toys, chase after anything that moves, and climb to the highest spots he can find! But when he's not in adventure mode, he's a total cuddle bug, happiest when snuggled up with his humans or right beside Bobby.

As Peter had limited vision as a kitten, he can be a bit shy and may take some time warming up in new situations but has shown to make amazing progress since having surgery! He's spent quite a bit of time with his brother, Bobby, and is bonded to him so they must be adopted together. They may do just fine in a home with a cat-savvy dog, or other friendly cats but should be introduced to any new animals slowly and overtime. They would love a home with adult adopters or with cat-savvy children over the age of 10!

Peter is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. An application must be submitted and approved online prior to scheduling a meet and greet.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
