Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My ex-wife was diagnosed with a major illness, so I have been fostering Daisy (whom my ex had rescued) since August 2023. She settled in after about a month, and has been immaculately housebroken. My ex can't take her back, and I have a travel commitment coming up on February 1st; I learned today (Jan. 23rd) that the Humane Society animal shelter will not take her in because they're worried about her stress level living in a shelter, even temporarily. I had Daisy assessed and dewormed back in October, but her shots are not current. Her estimated age is 1-2 years; she was tested for FIV, heartworms, and feline leukemia and came up negative for all three. The other cat I fostered with her tested positive for FIV, but they had separate feeding stations and have never had an altercation of which I'm aware. Daisy will need a calm environment, at least initially, into which to settle. She is affectionate once she gets to know you, but prefers not to be picked up. I will cover her rabies vax.
