Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Aster is about 6 years old and appears to be a Springer Spaniel X Pointer. She was pulled from a hoarding situation and has been in the foster program for over a year. She is timid but deserves to find a quiet and patient forever home. It is expected to take time, but she will learn to trust kind folks that she spends a lot of hours with. Then you will find her wanting to lie near you while gently accepting pets and belly rubs. She is a sucker for treats.
Due to her neglectful past, Aster doesn`t know how to play but does accept the companionship of other dogs - even active puppies. She does fabulous in a house with cats. Small children would be questionable. She does like to go for walks, whether it be in the neighborhood or in a park and she enjoys car rides. Aster is very good with strange dogs but will shy away from unknown people.
Aster is nondestructive in the home but cannot be safely kenneled. She would do great with an owner who is home most of the day. Her potty training still needs some work.
Anyone willing to give this sweet girl a chance?
