My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx. DOB: 4/10/23
We very happy to introduce you all to VIOLET. This beautiful girl came into our rescue a few months ago and we weren’t sure if she was ever going to be adoptable. She was so scared and had no confidence. She spent all of her time hiding and hissing & growling. We were confident she was going to have to be released back where she was trapped. Since the cold weather was coming, we decided to continue our efforts to make her feel safe and secure and decide again in the spring what to do.

We are ecstatic that we made that decision. What a turn around she has made! We have been procrastinating on posting her because we want to make sure that she is ready to transition into a new home. We’re not 100% sure that she is there yet, but she is pretty close. We have put a lot of work and love into getting her to turn the corner and we need to know that whoever adopts her will continue that. She is going to definitely need time to adjust when she goes to her new home. She is absolutely the sweetest little girl, just so timid. We see her come out of her shell more and more every day shows us how much potential she has.

This picture does not do her justice. She is a stunning dilute tortie with the softest fur. Violet is around a lot of other cats and for the most part is tolerant of them. She does not cuddle with anyone. But she gets head bops from them and accepts them willingly. Please put your application in on her and give her the forever home she deserves. She is spayed, up to date on all medical and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Calling All Cats Rescues is a dedicated volunteer group passionate about saving and improving the lives of cats in our community. Many of our volunteers also work at a Spay and Neuter Clinic, where our mission first began—helping the countless unwanted cats left at our door year-round.

We rescue abandoned kittens, care for countless mother cats who’ve had litter after litter, and give a second chance to those losing their homes. To humanely reduce the feline population, we spay and neuter feral cats, find loving homes for friendly adults, and ensure their offspring have a bright future.

Beyond rescue efforts, we empower the public with resources to spay and neuter their pets and assist with stray and feral cats in their care. We also provide guidance on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, helping others join the fight to control the feline population humanely.

Every cat we rescue is placed in a safe, loving foster home where they receive personalized care while awaiting their forever family. No matter their size, age, color, or story, we work tirelessly to match each cat with the perfect home.

Together, we’re making a difference—one cat at a time.
