My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arnold came from a terrible situation. He is about 4 years old, born to a backyard breeder and lived with his human since he was a puppy. His owner sadly took his own life and Arnold found himself back with the breeder where he was left outside to fend for himself.  A good Samaritan stepped in and was able to remove Arnold from the situation he was in.

His foster mom says he’s the best house guest ever.  He’s quiet and easy going, eager to meet new people and does great with the kiddos.  We don’t know what happened while he was back with the breeder but Arnold is reactive to other dogs so it’s best if he goes to a home where he will be the only dog.  Cats are a possibility with slow and careful introductions.

More about this rescue

Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed enthusiasts to save these delightful but often misunderstood dogs. Not only does MABBR rescue and find homes for homeless bull breeds such as American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bull Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs, MABBR also focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.
