My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, hoomans! My name is Taro and I'm a one-year-old feline looking for my forever home.

My siblings Ube and Mochi and I were rescued from a Retirement Living Community in Boyle Heights. Now, I'm ready to trade in my hard past for a cozy home filled with love and laughter.

I've been told that I'm quite the looker with my striking appearance. But don't let my pretty face fool you, I'm an active gal who loves to play and explore. However, I also have a laid-back side and enjoy. eating chicken

I'm constantly seeking attention and will make the purrfect companion for someone who wants a furry friend by their side at all times. My affectionate and gentle nature is guaranteed to melt your heart. But don't worry, I have a clever and independent streak too.

I may be a bit shy at first, but give me some time and I'll warm up to you. I get along well with other cats and wouldn't mind sharing my forever home with feline siblings. However, I prefer adult hoomans who can understand me and give me the attention I deserve.

So, what do you say? Are you ready to be my new family? Come meet me and see for yourself how I can bring joy and love into your life. Just don't be surprised if I steal your heart with my adorable charm. Apply to adopt me today!

More about this rescue

Boyle Heights Cats is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to make spay/neuter and low cost veterinary services accessible to all community members. We train community members of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno and East Los Angeles how to TNR and monitor their pet colonies in order to stop the overpopulation of homeless cats. We believe that community members can lead the change to reduce the number of stray cats on the streets. It is our collective responsibility to care for the community cats in our neighborhoods
