Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Background:
Juniper and her brothers were rescued by another shelter before being transferred to us here at TKW. They arrived at that shelter infested with fleas and badly needing a vet checkup. After arriving here with us, we got them flea treated and checked out, and now they have been fixed and vaccinated and are ready for forever homes! I have no background on the kind of situation they originally came from. Juniper specifically has a foggy eye, i have had it checked by a vet and she was given a steroid ointment that didn't really do anything. the vet has said it is corneal edema, or fluid behind the cornea, most likely from some sort of past trauma. It doesn't bother her one bit, and chances of it needing further vet care or removal in the future are very slim. I do believe she has little to no vision out of that eye, but it doesn't slow her down at all.
Bio:
Juniper is a very sweet cuddly girl, who also loves to roughhouse with her brothers. She's a bit like a princess, but a scrappy princess who definitely does not need anyone to defend her. She is extremely soft, has a very loud purr, and loves to snuggle up to you in bed at night. During the day (between her mandatory cat-naps) she spends her time running around, playing with toys, and beating the snot out of her brothers while they play wrestle. She does great with other cats, but has not been the greatest fan of dogs, however she is very curious about them.
Visual Description and Medical Info Info:
Juniper is a brown tabby with a foggy eye, she has a heart tattoo in one ear from her spay. Her estimated birthday is 9/7/23. She was spayed on 1/4/24 at Nelson County Humane Society. She also received her Rabies and FVRCP vaccines at the same time. For her vet care, She was seen at Bourbon City Animal Hospital.
