Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mimi might look a bit imposing, but this 5-year old, 64-pound Pit Bull Terrier mix is nothing more than a mushy gushy, big-time cuddle monster who is full of life, full of love, and full of kisses.
Mimi is fabulous with humans of all ages but prefers an adult only home. Mimi is very friendly toward other dogs. She can get a bit over-excited at the prospect of making new pals, but she is working on that behavior. Hey, she’s just a sweetheart who wears her emotions on her sleeve…errr, or rather, her leg! ;-)
Housebroken, crate trained, and a lover of the outdoors, Mimi knows where and when to do her business and she’s been making amazing progress with her leash manners. She enjoys sniffing at things, taking in the fresh air, and getting her steps in!
Mimi’s requires daily exercise/stimulation, but at a very manageable level. She will play or run for 15 minutes at 100%, and then pass out for 3 hours. She has a bunch of toys she often rummages through, she loves to play tug-of-war, and she likes to chase balls…although she may not always bring them back!
Treat motivated, attentive, and clever, Mimi has mastery of the commands sit, touch, look, and leave it. There’s no telling what this lovely lady can accomplish with continued training and guidance.
Mimi has a big personality and an even bigger heart. She thrives on close physical contact and yearns to be a valued member of a family. She is an absolute gem of a dog and would make a phenomenal addition to anyone’s home.

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
