Meet Murphy, a big, handsome, gentle, cuddly 10-year-young Tabby. He really is just the nicest cat!

Murphy was adopted when he was very young to a friend and longtime supporter of Jake’s Place, who has recently passed away.

He has lived with other cats, been OK around nice dogs, and is great with kids. His favorite person was the young teenage daughter in his home. :)

Basically, he would be a great companion to any kind person. Murphy is an indoor cat, but he does love a patio or an enclosed garden if you have one.

A couple of Murphy’s fur companions were adopted by a friend… He and Magpie get along OK, but she kind of hogs the attention so we think he would love to have his own home.

All Jake’s Place cats that are available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.

The Adoption Fee for Murphy is $150. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days.

Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
