My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apollo was born July 19th, 2021 making him 2 1/2 years old. He was adopted from a breeder by my uncle who lives on a 1/2 acre of land. He soon realized that he did not have the facilities to properly care for such a large dog and decided to allow us to foster him until we found him a proper home.

Apollo is the definition of a gentle giant. He is extremely sweet to people, dogs, cats, and loves attention. We are not sure how he reacts to animals like chickens or ducks or if he has an intense prey drive. He is an intact male so he does have the tendency to hump. He is house trained but will pee inside of a house he is unfamiliar with.

He is alright on a leash, but will pull you along if you don’t have the strength to handle him. He will run off if he manages to get away from you. His recall definitely needs some work but with some training he’ll be great.

Apollo needs loving a home with plenty of land to roam around on and some farm animals for him to watch over.
