My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Paulina!

Paulina, a sweet 11-year-old girl, joined us from Devore Shelter after her hold period ended on January 21st. This 61-pound bundle of joy is now a cherished Frosted Face, ready for her forever home. Paulina is truly a gem, and anyone who adopts her will be incredibly fortunate.

Paulina came to us with a large mass on her chest, but thanks to successful surgery in June, she's now mass-free and thriving! With her mobility no longer hindered, Paulina is all set to embrace the next chapter of her life with enthusiasm and happiness.

She's a calm, easy-going companion who adores attention, gentle pets, and tasty treats. Paulina gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her the perfect addition to any household.

Paulina is a big, cuddly sweetheart who's sure to win your heart. She's a quiet, affectionate girl who thrives on gentle love and attention but never demands it. Paulina takes treats very delicately and has a particular fondness for all kinds of treats, including fruit. She is the perfect Frosted Faces ambassador and has attended many community events, including a senior dog yoga fundraiser!

Paulina has been on a two Frosted Flings and earned rave reviews for being an easy-peasy houseguest and gentle loving friend to everyone with two or four legs.

Paulina is house-trained and thrives in a home where she can easily access the outdoors, either through an open door or with regular trips outside. Paulina enjoys napping but also loves spending time in the sunshine, whether it's lounging in a backyard or hanging out in a courtyard.

Paulina gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is indifferent to cats. She walks well on a leash and can manage short walks of up to 0.5 miles at a slow pace. However, she does need some assistance with her back end, particularly in the mornings when she's a bit stiff. A single-story home or one where she can stay primarily downstairs would be ideal, as she has difficulty with stairs.

Despite her occasional need for help, Paulina never barks and is incredibly low-maintenance. She's a gentle, loving girl who enjoys being around both people and animals, making her a perfect addition to any home looking for a sweet, calm companion.

Paulina recently joined volunteers for a trip to a local pumpkin patch. She could not wait to get out of her wagon and go exploring for her favorite pumpkin while getting lots of pets and love from all the visitors, including children. After the pumpkin patch visit, Paulina enjoyed having a yummy cheeseburger for lunch!

If you're looking for a loving, low-maintenance friend to brighten your days, Paulina is the one for you. Come meet this resilient and affectionate girl-she's ready to fill your life with joy and warmth!
