Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma is not your typical husky. Yes, she has striking blue eyes, a fluffy soft coat and can be a little vocal and sassy sometimes. OK, maybe she does have typical husky traits...but what sets her apart is that she's very calm and likes to take life slow.
Her favorite activity is laying on a soft bed and napping. She has four foster dog siblings that she mostly ignores, but she craves attention from people and enjoys a good head pat. She also likes going on slow walks and basking in the sun.

Emma was returned to the city shelter by her previous owners just two months after they adopted her. She came back almost 20 lbs lighter and with some difficulty walking. Though we don't know exactly what kind of treatment she endured, Emma has remained resilient and in good spirits throughout her recovery process. She is gaining weight slowly and as she gains strength it is obvious she was just neglected :(
However, she has the love and trust in her heart for her forever home will be a good and loving home, and she cannot wait to find a family that will truly value her for the beautiful girl she is.
