Meet Romeo, a young and vibrant spirit. He is a bundle of energy, always ready to play and explore. His exuberance may have him pulling on the leash, but with some guidance, he'll be walking by your side in no time. Romeo's house training is a testament to his intelligence and adaptability. He has learned the sit, no, down, and off commands. His playful nature can sometimes translate to roughness, especially with other dogs, cats, and children. He is also a bit jumpy and nippy, but that's just his way of expressing his excitement. His intensity and rowdiness might cause him to tackle kids or dogs as he enthusiastically blusters his way through life. You'll need to bring your dog to meet him and children in the home need to be at least 12 years old. He should not live with a cat. He weighs 63 pounds and plans to keep growing. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021.
