He has never met a stranger - human or canine - and is a major cuddlebug. If you pet him or give him a much appreciated belly rub, he'll be sure to thank you with his signature sweet kisses. He has made friends with the dogs he's met at the shelter and would probably enjoy a canine sibling to play with! While a young boy, Spanky has proven himself to be smart, eager to please, and very treat motivated, which makes training a breeze! He has already learned "sit," "down," "touch," and "come," and is ready to learn more from you! He's happy to accompany you on a walk, run, or hike (especially if there is fuel in the form of treats involved) or stay in to play with his favorite: stuffy toys! LifeLine embraces the Adopters Welcome approach. This philosophy encourages conversation-based and open-minded adoptions, enabling us to find more homes for our shelter pets without unnecessary judgment.
We have many wonderful pets waiting to be yours! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.
