My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Big Top! This sweet older pup came to APA! after his owner unfortunately passed away. After such a long life in a loving home, he doesn't deserve to live out his golden years in a shelter. He is a big guy but extremely loveable and easygoing. He walks well on the leash and keeps a slow pace. All Big Top wants to do is sleep by your feet while you work at the desk or watch TV on the couch. He is affectionate, and after you give him some chin scratches, Big Top will thank you with a kiss.

Since he is an older fellow, he is all out of patience for being around active dogs or small children. He also maintains that old-school mentality that dogs and cats should never be friends. Big Top would do best in a calm home where he is the only animal and can rest easy with a new human to love who understands that he is mourning the loss of his long-time owner. This big boy needs a hug and a home. Can you take him in and give him some chin scratches and comfort?
