Rita was one of the kittens that arrived at our rescue, along with her littermates.
Her mother is a bluepoint Siamese, but her father is not known. Rita and her
sister Beauty were adopted together and enjoyed a happy life with their dads.
Unfortunately, when their dad's mother had to move in with them, she brought a
larger dog which was not friendly towards the cats. To ensure their safety, they
were returned to the rescue.
Rita is now 6 years old and has adjusted well to life at the rescue. She loves to
be petted on her terms and has a special affinity for men, likely due to growing up with male
caregivers. She is current on all of her vaccines, tested negative for FIV and FeLV,
and has been microchipped and spayed. Rita is eager for a new beginning and a
loving forever home.
