Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Liberty!
Liberty is a 2 year old, 6.5 pound female chihuahua who is ready to find her fur-ever home. Liberty was brought in as a stray to an animal shelter. One of the vets liked her so much, she stayed in his office while waiting for rescue.
Liberty is a playful joyful friendly pup. She would love to be your best friend. Nothing makes her happier than sitting in your lap and giving kisses. She likes to sit on your feet when she's relaxing. Liberty likes to play fetch and even throws her toys for herself. She likes to go for walks and plays outside with her fur friends. Liberty is also very attentive and treat motivated. Her foster mom thinks that she could learn tricks or even be trained to run an agility course!
Liberty is good with kids and other small dogs. She loves everyone she meets after some sniffs! She is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Liberty should go to a house with a fenced-in yard so she can run and play outside!
A few more things to know about Liberty- Liberty is a little nervous when she eats and doesn't like to be touched while she is eating. She needs to work on personal space and can pester other dogs to beg them to play. She needs to go to a home with humans who are able to tell her “No” when needed.
Liberty is spayed. She has been fully vetted and is up to date on her vaccinations. She is microchipped. She is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventative.
Her adoption donation is $300.00.
If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below.
To submit an application go here……chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/
An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
