My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nate is a suave, easy-going guy with super soft fur who adores cheek and forehead scratches. Nate is an affectionate, curious and playful guy—showing his playful spirit and zest for life. And he loves attention!

He will start out timid with new people and changes to his living space so he will do best with people that have experience and patience and the willingness to encourage and support him through his adjustment to a new home with new people. It will be worth your effort and won't take him long to show his personality. Once he knows a person and feels comfortable in his new space, Nate is a real charmer.

Nate may do fine with a cat-friendly dog and/or another cat in his new home. He has done well with cats in his foster home that are confident with another cat and not reactive. We believe he would do fine in a home with children over age 6. Nate is FIV+ but is in good health and is expected to live a normal life, both in quality and duration. Estimated birth date is early 2022. Kitty Bio# 3876MB-Na.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The goal of our adoption process is to place the right cat(s) with the right person. These are the steps:

  1. Pick out a cat or think about the qualities you want in a cat.

  2. Complete our adoption questionnaire.

  3. Meet the cat over a video call with the foster parent or in person to see if the cat is a good fit for your household.

  4. Meet with an adoption counselor over a video call for a virtual home visit to go over a safety checklist.

  5. We will bring the cat to your home to complete the adoption.
