Rowdy! DOB: 10/2019 Weight: 60lbs
Rowdy is a 4 year old Golden Retriever mix who was surrendered to us after his owner died. He’s spent his entire life as a yard decoration on the end of a chain in the yard. So at first he wasn’t the biggest fan of us and would growl and get snappy. He’s gotten a lot better though. He’s met plenty of new people and gets out to go for walks with volunteers. He’s usually quiet in his kennel run, stands and observes. He’s not all that interested in treats, but he does like a good squeaky toy and some yard time. He is house trained! He was adopted and returned recently due to being protective over his family members. he needs to be put up when guests come over and worked with to accept people.
His adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If interested in adopting him please fill out an application on our website. https://www.newliferescues.org
