Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Standard Schnauzer: Eliza Jane, she was born July 31st 2018 who's owner needs to find her a new home due to changes in the family and is an emergency situation. Eliza's fear only is men with hats. She needs to be the only dog until she is fully socialized. We do not adopt to families with toddlers, and doesn't mind older children Eliza needs a person that understands this breed, a fenced yard, lives in Mpls. area, and not gone all day.
Eliza has lots of energy to burn and not being crated most of the day is what she truly craves. She loves car rides, running, her toys (which she loves to kill and destroy), and chasing the barn cats (so no cats) Being a Schnauzer, she is a barker and will protect her family from any stranger or noise, so apartment living is not for her. She weighs around 34 lbs. close to 2x the size of a Miniature Schnauzer. Standard Schnauzers are highly trainable with dedication and a time commitment, So, if you have the time to train, exercise, and spend time with her, she would love the companionship. Eliza will need an adopter/foster ASAP until she finds her perfect forever home. Please read on how to adopt/foster https://sites.google.com/view/mpls-schnauzer-rescue/home if you meet the minimum requirements you may ask for an application. Questions will be answered when an application is received.
