Meet Rico, a mid-sized possible shepherd/lab mix. Rico is an approx. 1-year-old handsome boy weighing 32 lbs. He is a cuddle bug for sure and he also loves snuggling up on your lap while watching TV plus keeping you company while you sleep. He just really enjoys having humans around him. One thing you'll love about Rico is his playful nature. He is a mix of friendly and independent - sometimes he'll follow you like a shadow, and other times he'll entertain himself with his chew bones, tennis balls and chew toys. He gets along well with other furry dog friends and enjoys playing and socializing with them. He even calls his fur friends from the window to say hi. When it comes to training, Rico is a star kid! In addition to basic commands like sit, no, off and paw, he's also very quick to understand your expressions, learn new tricks and commands. Rico rides well in a car, is house trained and crate trained, and although he doesn't enjoy being in a crate, he behaves well in it. He gets along with all people including kids. He's a big fan of going on walks and gets excited when he sees birds flying. He's always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, and he'll keep you entertained with his energy and enthusiasm. Overall, Rico is a joy to have around. He's not only well behaved and obedient, but he's also a fun-loving and adventurous companion. Even though he is young and playful, he is a medium-energy dog who knows how to chill. He is also good with cats. He'll bring so much happiness and love to your home. Rico would love to have a fur playmate and a fenced yard to run around in.
