Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MUST HAVE A NEW HOME BY FEB. 1, 2024 - JOJO - Jojo is a sweet, loving, healthy, house-trained, vetted/neutered, 2 year old, 135lb boy who was dumped and abandoned a month ago by his old owner in the Village of Oak Creek, AZ. Best in a home without dogs or one female dog.
Jojo is BIG (but thinks he is small) & loves to love, snuggle & play (especially with sticks, balls or toys). Jojo is currently at board & training camp through Topline K9 in Sedona AZ, where he is learning to be his best trained boy for his new home.
*Jojo needs a forever home by the end of camp on 2/1.*
What Jojo needs in his forever home, first and foremost:
-Love, Consistency and Confidence.
He is a sensitive baby who bonds hard to the people he comes to trust & love. He doesn’t like yelling or tension, and thrives on structure and love. He requires a confident, patient handler that can consistently remind him he is safe so he can just be his goofy self.
-Space.
Jojo is big & would do best in a home with a yard & some space.
-Lifelong Vetting/Food/Care.
Jojo is big so he has a big appetite & if cared for properly, (although healthy), could have the capacity for sizable vet bills. He will need his owner to provide for his needs & health now & for his whole life—hopefully at least 8-10 years.(*Please know this means that an adopter must commit to ably helping this dog in his senior years 8+ years from now).
Furry & Smaller Friends: Right now Jojo is working hard at training camp & we will know more next week, but have hope that with a strong handler, a calm home & gradual introductions, he will be able to join a home with a furry friend & maybe respectful kids.
Thank you for caring about Jojo. If you’re interested in adopting Jojo, & meet the above criteria, please send inquiries & more about your home to: Dewey Reen at dewey@deweyreen.com
