Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thru no fault of his own, Jonah's recent adoption fell thru. He is eagerly looking forward to meeting his new family, Is it YOU???
PLEASE NOTE: An adoption application is required if you are truly interested in adopting NELSON.. Please cut and paste this link to your browser ---> https://forms.gle/uN4Gp6ecwwpkoLod9.
If you are interested, please email us at rorescue.tucson@gmail.com. YES, JONAH has an adoption fee
ABOUT JONAH: Upon observation: we have determined that JONAH could be a Westie/Maltese mix. He has longish straight fur that is pure white. However he has black skin underneath. He weighs 18 lbs and is about 2-3 years old.
JONAH's ORIGIN: This sweet boy a wanderer for several weeks before our great trapping team convinced him that life is better inside. We posted a "found" report with the county and on the internet with no takers. After the stray "hold" was expired, RoRescue had him vet checked, neutered, utd of shots and microchipped.
PERSONALITY: At first JONAH was aprehensive about people, but after a heart-to-heart talk and lots of loving massage sessions, he thinks people are OK. We think at one time, he was loved and has had some doggie training. He loves to sit for photos. Walks well on a leash and seems potty trained, but no guarantees.Hhe is very smart and promises to become your loyal companion.
RORESCUE NOTES: We are looking for an "forever" adopter who will give this boy a safe loving home and keep him "forever"

FYI, the county shelter does not help Rescue Groups with veterinary expenses. We use our own vets and we pay them thru adoption fees and donations. Lately, veterinary fees have escalated, making it harder and harder to keep adoption fees low and help homeless dogs find great homes. Please be considerate when deciding to adopt a "Rescue DOG".
ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, dental cleaning (if needed), microchipped and UTD on shots. Full blood panel/Valley Fever/Tick Fever/Heartworm testing is NOT customarily done, unless veterinary suggested
RoRescue adopts their dogs as INDOOR pets, with sufficient supervised outdoor exercise time.
RoRescue requires a secure yard and safe environment for this dog.
We do NOT adopt to out-of area or out of state locations.
