My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

For me, it’s the brows. I mean I just can’t with that face!

Meet Reno, a handsome male Shepard mix that is a gem of a fella. He weighs in at 41lbs at less than 4 years old and in exceptional health. Reno has a great temperament, is happy all the time, enjoys chillin in a sunny spot for a good nap, but also likes playing with toys, receiving pets and running around the yard. Being potty and kennel trained, knowing how to sit, walk on a leash and taking baths- he’s got the basics down pat. As an equal opportunity guy, he is excellent around cats (even when they are acting like fools around him), other dogs and children alike. To top it off, Reno is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on all shots and microchipped. Now all he needs is his furever home.

If you’re looking for a new bestie and unconditional love from a well-mannered guy, hurry up and fill out an adoption questionnaire at weatherfordwags.org.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
