Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nova is also such a good girl - she is calm, follows you around, and never tries to get into anything. Nova is a little timid around new people, but she warms up quickly & will be glued to your side. Nova would do well with regular walks, but she does love to run as fast as she can in a fenced yard, so we require she go to a home with a fenced yard so she can do her zoomies. Nova will do well with a single person, retired couple, a family with kids who know how to be gentle with her, and she would absolutely love a companion dog as a playmate. Even though she's a little wobbly on the back legs due to a back injury with her previous owner, she gets around well and loves to run and play! She had been attacked by a Great Dane which injured her back, leaving her scared and intimidated by larger dogs. We have been taking her to a veterinary chiropractor for acupuncture and adjustments and she is feeling tons better! We encourage her adopter to continue with that for her to keep her at her best. Nova needs to avoid too many stairs, and prefers floors with traction. Nova is slow to sit, lay, or stand/up on command but does it in her own time then she's off running. She does great with come, kennel, etc.Nova does great in her kennel. When out of the kennel for the day she can go up to four hours between potty breaks, she will go to the door to let you know she needs to potty. She and the resident dog are about the same size and get along great. Nova loves cats and rabbits (per previous owner). Nova and the resident dog have been eating within a few feet of each other with no issues. Nova is happy to share her toys and people! Nova doesn't know many commands, so we're working on the basics. She is food motivated and ready to learn. We hope you will fall in love with our worried-looking, wrinkled-forehead, little princess!
